Last Sunday, my grandmother admitted to hospital, actually we should be celebrating her 87th b'day happily on that day, unfortuanately, my grandmother was injured last thursday and her leg had gone worst that she cant even move her body away from bed. We called the non-emergency ambulance and bought her to the changi hospital on that day.
Due to the swine flu case, one patient can onli accompany with one vistor, so we were waiting outside the hospital. She was been brought for a full body checkup including x-ray and doctor ask her to admit to hospital.
Finally at 9sth, report of the x-ray was out, we were told that my grandmother's hips there the bones which near the left leg there had broken and there is a need of a operation to put an iron stick inside to support her bone... Alternate way which is no operation and medicine will be given to reduce the pain, however when times goes abt 6months, her organ inside her body will slowly spoil and she will pass away... BUT, even if she do the operation, if she cant take it, she may leave us after 3days....
No matter what decision we choose, there will be a risk that she may leave us... She is the only grandmother i left, my mum side grandma just passed away a fews years ago and it hurts me alots, so i dun wish that it will happen again...
Operation date was set tml (16june) morning and i hope tat her opeartion will be a successful one... I know that this kind of thing is difficult for us to prevent or stop it, but! 希望她能度过这个难关。。
